15 July 2014 - Angelo Wins
In support for 4 year old Angelo through his and his family's ordeal trying to beat the big C that has stricken his still growing body, a bunch of awesome bands within and around the Luton and Bedfordshire area are joining forces to provide you all with a show and try to raise some money to help Angelo and the family through this journey. We aim to show our support and rock out with great level of skill and glory!
Background in summary:
Little Angelo was diagnosed with cancer whilst in Greece where he lived with his parents and was told that there was no hope. His mom and dad (my childhood friend from greece) fought all odds when doctors there told them that there was no hope and the end was soon....so they took a risk to reach out to a doctor in London and Angelo, 9months later, has passed through his first stage and cleared the cancer in affected areas. There are still traces where the C has moved, and the battle is still very much on, but the hope that these sequence of events have given all is remarkable.
The Line up :
George Zafirakis: 630-7pm
Alexi Pelegrini: 7:15-7:45
Tequila Mockingbird: 8:00-8:30
Sykopath Condor: 9:30-10
Scar City: 10:15- 10:45
We hope you can join us and rock out for a very worthy cause & help us raise a ton of cash!
P.S. If you cannot attend you can make a donation through paypal email@example.com

Thank you to all who made it to our show at The George II in Luton last night. We had an epic night and got to enjoy killer sets from our good friends Gevaudan and Hagstone as well. Ashley literally bled for the show after smashing his finger on the snare early on in the set. We are happy to tell you that his finger is doing well. We will be back in town in the not too distant future. Our next scheduled show in Luton at this time is our headline slot at this years Cerberfest on Fri,12th July. Mark the date!

Here is the newest addition to our guitarists pedal collection....well until now Kai only ever used his Cry Baby with the Blackstar amp on stage/in the studio but it sounds like the beginning of a long, beautiful & heavy friendship.
We found our local go-to guitar store Coda Music in Luton had one in stock for arround £67 but they dropped it down to £62 when we found it online for £58+postage. Nice guys & worth mentioning they gave us a deal. You got to support your local music stores.Coda Music.

The crowd in bedford is always fun to play for and friday night at The Bear was no execption. It always takes us 20-30 minutes to find the place & the back door parking area but we blame our satnavs for that. For the first time in bedford we played a solo show, due to a support band drop out (it happens) but that gave us the chance to try out a few from our new tracks we have been working on since we released the album in november last year. On that note...you can download the last track - Driven - from the album for free until midnight on wedsday right here.
We hope to return to bedford in the not too distant future but we are not playing too far away this week either. We are looking forward to rocking the stage at The Four Horsehoes with our good friends Cerberus this coming saturday. If you are in the area come down for good night with a few local legends and our humble selfs. Entry is free!

Last night we headlined MindFest at The Constitution in London to help raise awareness and money for the mental health charity Mind. Mind is the National Association for Mental Health in the United Kingdom campaigns on behalf of those with mental illness.
The support was great and a good deal of money was raised on the night. So a big thank you to all of you for coming down to support the charity and parting with some of your hard earned money to support this very worthy cause.

We had an absolute blast at the UKCCA in Luton last night. Great venue & an awesome crowd. Thanks to all of you who came down on what was also the launch night. From what we hear there will be more shows taking place here in the future so keep an eye out for announcements in the future. You can also just join our mailing list below the music player to your right.

That was one epic night in Aylesbury at The White Swan. Our good friends Gevaudan kicked ass as always and Hagstone delivred a killer set too. We met some great people on the night and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we have invited both bands to rock the stage with us at The George II in Luton on the 3rd May. Don't miss this one! Heavy desert rock, Sludge & Metal that will twist your head. Poster coming up soon!
10 Feb 2014
February has started of pretty well. Whilst we have been busy putting the finishing touches on our last 2 tracks (which you can pick up live at a show here and there where we give them a test ride in the near future) the gigs have been pouring in including our first show in Hitchin at Club 85. Keep an eye on the Tour Dates section for new dates we are adding during this week.
We also received a sweet review today of our debut album from JK at the Stoner HiVe which also happens to be our first review from the Netherlands. Absolutely dig it and have to quote few lines "The most amazing aspect of the album is probably the highly eclectic nature of the eleven songs which are still able to retain the quality and same color spectrum to show us that they belong together. Sykopath Condor; remember that name!". You can check out the review and blog here. Found ourselves spending ages on it.
27 Jan 2014
That was another epic night of heavy sounds & hair flying all over. Thank you to all who came down and made the show what it was. Also a huge thank you to our friends Gevaudan for another killer performance. We love gigging with these guys and highly reccommend you check them out. Excellent Doom with a hint of Sabbath (see previous post). We will share the next stage in Aylesbury at The White Horse on the 22nd February. Our next scheduled gig will be at The Red Lion in Biggleswade the day before as we are taking some time to finish off a few new heavy tracks over the next couple of weeks. More details on that in the not too distant future. Have a rocking week everyone! \m/ \m/
20 Jan 2014
It may have been cold outside but there was a lot of sweating going on the other side of the wall. Absolutely excellent night at The Bridge and if it wasn't for the ride back to the nest we would have stayed even longer then 1am. There are some heavy folk living in Shefford and the crowd was a lot of fun to play around. Thumbs up, this place rocks! We will be back in the area soon.
Our next local gig isn't far away. We are returning to The George II for our first show in Luton in 2014 this saturday. And to boot we have Gevaudan joining us. This is a kick ass new Doom band that supported us at The Bear in Bedford last december. Great new local doom metal band, especially if you consider the amount of doom metal bands coming out of the area. None other come to mind. So come down on saturday and let's go wild!
10.15-11.30 Sykopath Condor

The holidays are over and we are eager to get back on stage. For our first gig in our hometown in 2014 we will return to The George II. We have the pleasure of sharing the stage with Gevaudan again. We played with these lads at The Bear in Bedford in december and they really impressed us with a killer set. Heavy, doomy with Sabbath undertones. If you didn't catch the gig, make sure you don't miss out on this one.
You can check their page out here: www.facebook.com/Gevaudandoom

This is the room where we write most of our music. Who needs a dining room anyway? Appart from promoting our album and gigging all over the three counties we have been busy writing new tracks and there are some cracking ones in there (we think so anyway). There are a couple of tracks you may have picked up on during the one or other live show in the last few months that can not to be found on our debut album. The first one of you who sends us a msg with one of the track names not featured on our debut album will receive a signed copy of the album. Just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.orgOur first show in 2014 will be at The George II, on the 25th January.
6 Dec 2013
Happy birthday Mr Clark. A quarter of a century old today. Sounds a lot older than 25 ey. We shall celebrate adequately until the bar is dry on the weekend. Your fellow Condors wish you all the best for the next 25.

We once again would like to apologize to everyone that was coming down to see us at The Four Horseshoes on Saturday but due to a family bereavement within the family of one of the band members we decided to pull the show. We will be back in town however this coming weekend on Saturday the 7th December to rock The Castle (1 Castle Street, LU1 3AA) alongside Tequila Mockingbird & Circle of Reason. Music starts from around 8pm. Free entry.
